Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1972 Triumph TR6 recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1972 Triumph TR6 problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: 1972 Triumph TR6R 650 - 650cc - Only 3,680 miles - Highly Original - (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) Take a close look at this awesome vintage Triumph, you could be cool like the King of Cool himself Steve McQueen. He had a fondness for motorcycles and even competed on a Triumph motorcycle in the 1964 International Six Day Trials. The motorcycles used in some scenes of the movie The Great Escape were Triumphs disguised as BMW's. This TR6R is a bike that is in great condition and shows just shy of 3,680 miles on the clock. This bike has a classic look with just the right amount of chrome trim throughout. The extra chrome trim down the center of the tank and on the Triumph badge give this bike a classier look. A two-tone tank finished in white and teal with gold pinstriping between the two colors adds a little flair to the bike. An easy way to spot a TR6R is the low mounted exhaust pipes. Powered by a 650cc two cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual transmission and gear selection made with the rider's right foot. From what we've found, approximately 3,500 Tigers were produced for the '72 model year which was the last year before axed the TR6R and added a new engine and model combination for '73. Recent maintenance includes an oil change, oil pump repair, new gaskets, and cleaned sump pump. Be the King of Cool in your neighborhood on this TR6R! This low mileage classic British bike is ready to take you on a brief escape from the daily grind. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors.
